Responsible sourcing, efficient manufacturing and thoughtful distribution are central to how we operate. Across our international production network, we work to reduce resource consumption, recover materials and maintain traceability throughout our supply chain.
Responsible sourcing
Wood is at the heart of our manufacturing activities. We work with FSC® (FSC-C218187) and PEFC (PEFC/15-31-0174) certified suppliers and source timber from responsibly managed forests and plantations. Traceability is maintained throughout the supply chain, helping us meet customer requirements and applicable forestry regulations.
Resource-efficient manufacturing
Our manufacturing partners invest in energy-efficient machinery, heat recovery systems and renewable energy solutions to reduce energy consumption. These improvements have achieved energy savings of up to 65% in certain operations.
Wood offcuts and chips are recovered and reused as biomass fuel, providing energy for wood-drying processes and reducing production waste.
Responsible distribution
Our European warehousing and distribution network allows us to consolidate shipments, manage inventory and organise deliveries according to customer requirements.
Where possible, we use inland waterway transport along the Rhine as an alternative to road freight, helping to reduce the environmental impact of our logistics operations.
